Branding & icons
As Incognito grew, increasing its arsenal of security tools, it required an expanding library of status & system icons. A full branding refresh was also considered. I explored a range of different routes, above are the 3 most popular as voted for by users.
UI illustrations
The latest version of the Incognito app required a host of illustrations. A key mandate was to make the new app feel approachable & friendly, but trustworthy, so a welcoming, inclusive contemporary style was required for the illustrations.
App evolution
From left to right you can see the evolution of the Incognito app. It gradually evolved from its basic state in version 1, all the way to version 2, which was completely redesigned from the ground up. By 2021 Incognito had reached the top 10% of advertising revenue earners on the Google app store.
Security for all
The latest version of Incognito offered users a range of tools to help manage their security. Our mantra was that security should be accessible to all, so premium features could be accessed by watching reward ads. You can read more about the project in my UI/UX case study.
Motion graphics
A lot of motion graphics design & animation was required to bring Incognito & its services to life. From advertising & on boarding animations, to animated idents, you can find a small selection displayed below.
